Rescue bear is an urban fantasy romance novel by Cadence Ayers. It’s Roman and Megan’s story.

Roman is a polar bear shifter that works with POLAR group (a rescue team). He recently came over from Siberia after something went wrong. They were thus sent to Florida. During that time, there was a bad hurricane. That’s exactly when he met Megan who had an asshole husband that was giving her grief – and treated her horribly. Therefore, once she met Roman, she felt like she could have a whole new life. Sadly, her ex Dylan was still around giving her grief. With help from Roman, she started to gain confidence again and thought that his bear form was adorable!

Next in the series, his friends and alpha acquire mates – which I’m super excited to read and review! This is the first time that I’ve read a polar bear shifter novel. It was adorable and amazing!

Bear Vet is an urban fantasy romance novel by Zoe Chant. Its Waylon and Judy’s story. Waylon is a vet that works with Angel (from the first novel) and is a bear shifter. His daughter Raelynn is a bear shifter also, but she had trouble controlling her shift at first…

It was fun seeing Angel and Evelyn from the first novel! I love it when characters reappear later in a series…

In this story, Judy is a horse rescuer who met Waylon though the horses. I love that Raelynn’s horse Blackflame was a hell-horse – literally from hell – all black with red flames!

I love this series so far… it’s super fun and super sweet. It took a while for them both to be comfortable with each other, but once they were it was adorable! Raelynn’s mom is also a bear shapeshifter and it is genetic!

I give it an 10/10.
