I recently caught “Hills Have Eyes” on TubiTV, and let me tell you, it was a wild and thrilling ride. This horror flick cranks up the gore factor and introduces some seriously badass-looking creatures!

The story centers around a family taking an RV trip through the desert. A sketchy gas station attendant suggests a shortcut that turns out to be a gruesome trap, leaving them stranded in the desert with a bunch of hungry, cannibalistic mutants. Yeah, seriously, it’s that intense!

What sets this horror film apart is that, unlike many others, quite a few characters actually survive the ordeal, including the baby. That’s a rare sight in the horror genre!

If you’re up for some blood, guts, and good old-fashioned gore, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. It’s a terrifying roller coaster ride with a fantastic ending that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

“Animal Crossing: New Horizons” is a Nintendo Switch game that initially captivated me with its charming world. However, as time passed, I found myself growing increasingly bored. I typically enjoy games with a bit more action and direction, and this one felt a bit too slow and open-ended for my taste.

Even with the DLC, I longed for more guidance and structure, as the game felt too hands-off for my liking. While I recognize that some players relish the freedom and creativity it offers, it didn’t quite click with my preferences.

One undeniable positive is the adorable villagers and delightful island elements. But after investing around 200 hours over a year and a half, my interest waned.
