Bastion

Bastion is an action role-playing game by Supergiant Games. In it, you play as a character called “the kid” who has bright white hair. The whole objective is to collect stones to be able to power the bastion after the world falls (after the apocalypse – of course!).

The music in this game is absolutely incredible – yet strange, just like the game itself. It’s  oddly charming, with some laughable moments.

The nice thing is that if you die or fall off a ledge (which happens a lot) the game doesn’t screw you over massively. The monsters don’t kill before you die (at least on easy mode which I played) – allowing you to  just focus on the story, collect stuff, and upgrade weapons.

There are a plethora of challenges you can do to get more items (and other goodies.) I didn’t do many of them, focusing mostly on the main story.

Overall great and quirky rpg that i think most people will enjoy!

I give it an 8/10.
