Aladdin was distributed by Disney and produced by Ridgeback Studios. It starts with a family in a sailboat with both parents and their two children. The dad wants to tell them the story of Aladdin… It cuts to Persia – where it shows Aladdin (played by Mena Massound.)
Aladdin starts as a thief who then rescues the princess (played by Naomi Scott). The genie is played by Will Smith.
The CGI in this film was breathtaking – and so was everything else in this movie. I didn’t know that Will Smith could sing until I watched this movie! They made Jafar (played by Marwan Kenzari) badass.
The story throughout the whole thing was amazing – especially the ending. The genie ended up with the handmaiden named Dalia, and Aladdin ended up with Jasmine. It was super sweet.
I have always loved Disney Films. Rajah was super awesome and so was Zabu. They actually looked so real (even though they were CGI), that I googled to be sure.
I give it a 10/10.
