Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a role playing game by EA Games and 38 Studios. It’s the only game by 38 Studios, but it’s an absolutely amazing game!
You play this game as a hero that died in battle – and then are resurrected deep in a mine. They allow you to choose from various races, and further customize everything (eyes, tattoos, and general facial features). They don’t allow permanent companions in this game, but there are certain sections where you have them (and thankfully for the final missions).
The one somewhat annoying part is that weapons and armor do end up breaking, and repairing them is expensive! What I do is to simply switch up armor and weapons a lot! Also, if you get the DLC’s, it expands the area that you can explore immensely.
Once you beat the game, you can still go around and do quests. You can kill NPC’s and various monsters.
Overall, it’s a great game! I do wish this game company was still around.
I give it an 8/10.
