Unraveling “The Friendship Games”

A Horror Odyssey

So, I stumbled upon “The Friendship Games” on Hulu the other day, and let me tell you, it was one heck of a rollercoaster ride. Or should I say, a horror-thriller whirlwind that left me scratching my head for days. Picture this: four friends innocently traipsing through a yard sale stumble upon an ancient relic. Now, here’s the kicker – if you’re truthful with this relic and to your buddies, apparently, good things are supposed to happen. But, hold your horses, because as luck would have it, things can easily go south, and this relic has a knack for doling out punishment. The narrative of this movie was like trying to navigate through a maze blindfolded – time skips, dead people, and some bizarre constructs thrown in for good measure. Honestly, I felt like I needed a PhD in movie decoding just to keep up!

All in all, “The Friendship Games” wasn’t exactly the shining star in the horror movie galaxy. Sure, the premise had potential, but the execution? Let’s just say it fell flatter than a pancake. I’m giving it a generous 3 out of 10 because hey, at least it gave me something to scratch my head about!
