Animal Cops: Phoenix – Season 20

Animal Cops: Phoenix, Season 20, is a documentary series that I watched on Discovery Plus. There were ten episodes in this season.

I enjoyed seeing various animals get rescued! They rescued dogs, cats, snakes, and everything in between.

They take animals, get them spayed/neutered, and place them with adoptive families. With the feral cats, they would also get spayed and neutered… but then released in a barn or industrial buildings to control the rodent population. I think it’s a perfect situation for animals that are under socialized!

Overall, I wish they had more seasons available on Discovery Plus. When they release more, I will gladly watch and review more of the seasons!

I give it a 9/10.

Secrets of the Zoo: North Carolina  – Season 1

Secrets of the Zoo: North Carolina is a documentary series on Disney Plus. I really enjoyed it! There are a total of eight episodes this season.

This series shows the lives of the animals and their keepers that work at the zoo in North Carolina. They have a plethora of animals including elephants, snakes and polar bears.

They treat all the animals with so much care and compassion! They also rehabilitate animals. They rehabilitated bears, otters, etc., and allowed those animals to be able to be back in the wild… where they belong.

I hope there are more seasons in the future, although I do doubt it as it’s been over two years since they released it.

Overall, it’s a great show that kept me interested the whole time with extremely cute animals.

I give it a 10/10.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an action adventure role playing game that I played on my Playstation 5. I really enjoyed the large open world. It was great to explore and it was fun being able to explore by boat and by land.

The only thing that I found challenging is that there were no clear enemies. You basically attack anything (which I found amusing at first)! I wish it was more clear who was friend or foe.

I really enjoyed picking male or female, and there were various pretty armor choices. I have never actually beaten this game, but I have played it multiple times and really enjoyed it.

I give it a 7/10.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed Origins is an action adventure role playing game by Ubisoft. It’s based in ancient Egypt around the time of the pharaohs.

In this game, you play as a man trying to overthrow a corrupt leader. It’s a gigantic open world to explore. The game also consists of puzzles, and you can play stealthy in it. It’s nice however, that you are not completely stuck playing stealth in this one.

I enjoyed it but I wish there was a larger level cap. The level cap is only 45 and I like open world level caps to be around 100.

Overall, it’s an “okay” RPG (not my favorite). It’s a nice game to pass the time.

I give it a 6/10.

Unpacking

Unpacking is a video game puzzle developed by Witch Beam and published by Humble Bundle. It’s a very cute game with no super obvious glitches.

I personally wish you could rotate the camera in this game, instead of just zooming in and out. Without that ability, it’s a bit difficult to place pieces.

The music is quite pleasant; however, sometimes it simply cuts out. The ending song is quite adorable nonetheless.

In this game, you see the story play out through the act of unpacking everything from stuffed animals, plates, bowls, and cleaning products.

Overall, it’s very cute and sweet, especially if you are looking for a nice cozy game.

I give it a 9/10.

Mass Effect Legacy Edition

Mass Effect Legacy Edition is a sci-fi shooting role-playing game. I have actually played all three games!

All three games are wonderful and you play as Commander Sheppard. The only part that I didn’t love was the driving section in Mass Effect One. It was rather touchy and would sometimes just launch you for no good reason.

I enjoyed Mass Effect Three the most – just because the ending was quite impactful. It was, however, the shortest of the three games.

There are multiple romance options (with aliens and humans) and various endings you can achieve.

Overall, it’s a great game series, and I hope for more games similar to this in the future.

I give it an 8/10.

Brave (Video Game)

Brave is a video game developed by Behaviour Games and published by Disney Interactive Studios. This game is available on many different platforms. I initially played it on the original Wii, then on the Xbox 360, and finally on Playstation Plus for streaming.

The graphics are hideous! However, it’s quite fun because you can play through the story of the movie Brave. Meredith, a character in the movie, and her entire family turn into bears! Your quest is to find a way of turning her family back into humans. There are various puzzles, and the combat is a bit wonky, but it’s actually fun.

Overall, even though its graphics are quite bad, it’s somewhat fun to play.

I give it a 5/10.

Dr Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet – Season 6

Dr.Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet – Season 6 is a documentary series on Discovery Plus. There are a total of 14 episodes in this season, and they were absolutely amazing!

This season was fascinating because they took care of the animals during the pandemic. They had clients remain outside while bringing the animals in for treatment.

As usual in this show, most of the time the animals survived. Unfortunately some (no matter how hard they tried) didn’t make it.

Overall, it was a great season and a wonderful show! I am looking forward to watching and reviewing more of the seasons.

I give it a 10/10.

Dog: Impossible – Season 2

Dog: Impossible – Season 2 is a documentary series I watched on Disney Plus. There are a total of 7 episodes in this season.

Within each episode, they are trying to help the dogs. Unfortunately, for two of the dogs, that meant leaving their existing families (to find people that understood them better). One of them found his perfect humans, and the other one is in a great foster family waiting for that perfect home.

I love how he said in this show that “there are no bad dogs” and also that he “cares about the big ones and the small ones all the same.” It’s exactly the way you would want someone to feel who had such an important role to play in the lives of these dogs.

I found it super sad that he lost a dog of his own this season, but at least he has a great life – which is all any of us can ask for.

Overall, it was a great season, and I’m hoping there will be more in the future to watch and review!

I give it a 10/10.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action adventure role-playing game that I have played on Playstation, Nintendo Switch, and on my PC. Each time was very enjoyable.

I enjoyed every race in the game and the ability to roam wherever you want to.  They make it quite fun exploring dungeons, getting companions, having a house and adopting two kids (which I thought was adorable!)

There is so much lore (like in all Bethesda games). That said, it does indeed have its glitches. For example, during one playthrough I saw a fish that was glitched into the sky!

Overall, it’s a fun game with hundreds of hours of gameplay that will keep you very, very busy and entertained!

I give it a 7/10.
