Someone You Love is a romance novel by Kristen Granata. It’s Bryce and Charly’s story.
Charly is a woman that used to work and live in Manhattan, New York – until she had a chance to go on vacation in Sunnyside (which is a small town in the midwest). That’s where she meets Bryce, a former NFL player who ended up in a fight with a spine injury. His injuries caused him to sometimes walk, sometimes be in a wheelchair, and sometimes use arm crutches. Charley thought she was going to have her own space until a storm hit. She ended up having to share a guesthouse with Bryce.
At first, Charly thought Bryce was a bit of a jerk, but slowly she got to know him and treat him without pity. He likes just to be treated like a human, not someone just to take pity on. She even helped him with a back massage with CBD cream, and he had a giant scar running down his spine…
Once summer was over, he got relationship spooked and said that he wasn’t good enough for her. Thanks to his friends and grandmother nudging him along, he decided to give the romance another shot. After his speech at a NFL charity event, things took off again. It was super sweet and heartwarming!
Bryce and Charly eventually got married! They do have to do things a little differently, but they are figuring things out.
This was a very good read and I enjoyed it a lot!
