The Cursed Portrait is a paranormal romance with a regency twist, and wow—I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did! This was my first time diving into a regency novel, and I was a little worried it might be too old-fashioned or stuffy. But let me tell you—this book was not boring in the slightest! It had plenty of steam, action, and sweet moments that kept me hooked from start to finish.
This story follows Max, an Earl, and Amelia, a talented artist who comes from a common background. Their worlds couldn’t be more different, but fate forces them together when they must break a mysterious curse. The romance between them is so well done—full of tension, chemistry, and that perfect mix of drama and passion. Plus, the regency setting adds a unique charm that makes this book stand out from other paranormal romances.
If you love a love story with magic, mystery, and an irresistible historical setting, The Cursed Portrait is absolutely worth reading. It’s one of the sweetest romances I’ve picked up in a while, and I can’t recommend it enough!
