The Griffin’s Mate is the first book in the Hideaway Cove series, and wow—what a fun start! This one follows Harrison and Lainie’s romance, and from the moment they meet, the sparks definitely fly.
Harrison is a griffin shifter (yes, a griffin!), and he works as a contractor, while Lainie is in Hideaway Cove to take care of her grandparents’ property. Their connection is instant, but what really makes this book stand out is how much it has to offer—there’s action, drama, strong friendships, and just an overall great small-town paranormal vibe that makes you feel right at home.
This book was such an enjoyable read, and I’m already looking forward to diving into more of the series. If the future books are anything like this, Hideaway Cove is going to be a favorite for sure!
Overall, a fantastic start to a promising series with a unique shifter romance, great characters, and a perfect mix of drama and action.
