Biomutant is an RPG action game by Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic. In this game, you can become a creature and choose its appearance. Additionally, you can modify it in various places throughout the game.
I personally found the story and the characters a bit bland; however, exploring was extremely enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the wide range of mounts and the fact that you could either catch them in the wild or buy them in shops around the world. Crafting various weapons or finding them in the world is also a ton of fun. There are various mutations you can do to your character to make them more protected against the many natural elements. On a side note, one of the funniest weapons I found was a radioactive carrot!
Overall, it’s an interesting game, but it could definitely use a better storyline and more interesting characters. That said, the environments are quite pretty.
I give it a 6/10.
