George of the Jungle is a bit of an odd Tarzan parody available on Disney Plus. This movie took me a very long time to get into – but towards the middle (once they got out of the jungle) it got very interesting. It was even super sweet at some points… which to me was a big surprise!
I don’t think it would have done as well in todays times because it’s a bit insensitive at times. Ursula (played by Leslie Mann) was darling though the whole movie. Brandon Fraiser played George – and wow he was good looking back then!
I don’t normally relate to a lot of the older movies, but I found this one actually quite amazing. I’m looking forward to watching the second one soon.
I give it an 8/10.
