It follows James, who believes his sister vanished while investigating the Blair Witch legend—something from the original film, which I haven’t seen yet. The movie attempts to build on the found footage genre, presenting itself as if it’s part of a documentary, but it struggles with pacing and clarity.

The film includes some bright, flashing lights at various points, which could be uncomfortable for viewers sensitive to such visuals. While there were a few decent jump scares, much of the film felt slow and a bit dull. The action moments, though present, were only okay and didn’t quite make up for the overall lack of suspense.

One major issue was the confusing storyline. It claims the characters were separated for five days, yet it felt more like a single night, making it hard to follow. Additionally, the Blair Witch herself is barely shown, which was disappointing. A longer glimpse could have added much-needed tension and horror.

Overall, Blair Witch (2016) is an okay movie but not one of my favorites. It’s an interesting dip into the found footage genre, but it falls short in delivering a compelling and coherent horror experience.

As you might expect, dabbling with the paranormal leads to terrifying consequences.

Mia, one of the main characters, experiences the worst of these consequences, ultimately leading to her demise. The movie does a fantastic job of building tension and delivering some genuinely effective jump scares, along with a good dose of blood and gore.

Overall, Talk to Me is an intriguing horror film that keeps you on the edge of your seat with its eerie premise and well-executed scares.

GranBlue Fantasy Relink is an action RPG that I had the pleasure of playing on my PlayStation 5. Developed by Cygames, this game offers a captivating and immersive experience. Despite not having played any other games in the series due to availability issues, I found this installment to be pretty great.

In GranBlue Fantasy Relink, you get to name your captain and recruit a variety of companions on your journey across numerous sky kingdoms. The game’s narrative is engaging, with a storyline that pulls you into its richly crafted world. The gameplay mechanics are smooth and intuitive, making the action sequences thrilling and enjoyable.

One feature I found interesting is the New Game Plus mode. Unlike the traditional whole-game New Game Plus, GranBlue Fantasy Relink offers a chapter-by-chapter approach. While I generally prefer the full game New Game Plus that carries everything over from the first playthrough, this format still allows you to experience the story again with all your previously earned items and upgrades.

The game’s music is another standout aspect. The soundtrack is beautifully composed, enhancing the overall experience and making each moment in the game more memorable.

Overall, GranBlue Fantasy Relink is a fantastic game with a compelling story, wonderful companions, and exceptional music. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it and would definitely recommend it to fans of the genre. The dynamic between Amelia and Hunter is engaging, and their journey from a chance encounter to a solid family is heartwarming.

Not a single burglar makes it out alive, with the last remaining girl nearly escaping before being caught by the dog and dragged back to the blind man’s lair. This relentless pace and constant tension make “Don’t Breathe” a gripping and gory experience that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
