Breaking into the wrong house never looked this darkly hilarious.

Review:
Villains is a horror-comedy gem I caught on Tubi, and let me tell you—it was a weird little rollercoaster in the best way. The story follows a criminal couple, Mickey and Jules, who break into a house after pulling off a gas station robbery. But surprise! This is not your average suburban home.
Inside, they find a creepy couple who are way off their rockers—the wife treats a doll like a real baby, and the husband is just plain unsettling. Things escalate quickly once our “villains” discover a real child trapped in the basement, and suddenly, the robbers don’t seem like the bad guys anymore.
Despite a few cringe moments here and there (and a very questionable decision to have the villain stand back up after being run over—like c’mon), I found it super entertaining. The acting was great, the humor was weird but worked, and the story had enough twists to keep me hooked. I especially loved that Jules made it out and saved the girl, even if Mickey didn’t survive—RIP, you chaotic cinnamon roll.
Overall, Villains is twisted, funny, dark, and surprisingly sweet in its own weird way. A solid horror comedy with just the right amount of bite.
