The Council is an interactive mystery graphic-adventure video game developed by Big Bad Wolf, and published by Focus Home Entertainment. I played it on my Playstation 5 on Playstation Plus.
It’s broken up into 5 episodes – with chapters in each episode. The game is quite beautiful but the puzzles were a bit confusing. The main character was a bit… well, unattractive.
In this game, there is no combat. There are, however, various potions that you can acquire that will heal you from people that poison you. Additionally, there’s honey that will give you energy – seen as small triangles in the bottom of the screen.
There are many famous leaders in this game, including George Washington and Napoleon Bonaparte.
The outfits in this game are absolutely stunning and so is the environment. It reminds me of old Victorian attire.
Overall, it’s an interesting game with no combat, but plenty of challenges.
I give it a 7/10.
