Castaway Paradise

Castaway Paradise is a social simulation game that was originally free to play with in-app purchases. It still has that mobile game feel (despite it being on console).

I highly wish they would have changed it a bit for the console version. It’s one thing for it to have that “mobile game feel” on a phone, but on a console it doesn’t feel like it’s worth $15. It feels more like a free game.

Ironically, the graphics and the idea are adorable. There are various kinds of animal villagers including pigs, goats and moose. There are also special events for the holidays, including Christmas and Easter.

Overall, it’s a really cute game. I wish they would have made things a bit fancier, but it was a cute game.

I give it a 5/10.
