Tarot

Title: Tarot
Run Line: A cursed deck, terrifying creatures, and nonstop thrills!
Genre: Horror
Platform: Watched on Netflix

Review:
Tarot is a horror movie that takes a simple idea—reading tarot cards—and turns it into a nightmare. A group of friends gather in a house for what seems like a fun night of tarot readings, but the deck they’re using is cursed. Instead of vague predictions, these cards seal their fate—whatever card they pull is how they’re destined to die. And let me just say, the way this plays out is so cool!

One of the standout moments for me was the jester scene—one of the guys draws the jester card, and sure enough, he gets hunted down by a creepy, jester-like creature. That whole concept of the tarot-themed deaths really made this movie unique and super entertaining.

It’s the perfect length—not too long, not too short—so it keeps you engaged without dragging. Sure, it has some cheesy moments (as most horror movies do), but the creature designs were awesome, the acting wasn’t bad, and despite being PG-13, it actually had some fantastic jump scares. There were definitely moments that had me on the edge of my seat!

My Rating: 7/10

If you’re into horror movies with a fun, supernatural twist and some genuinely creepy moments, Tarot is a solid pick for your next movie night. Stream it now on Netflix!
