Review:
Talk to Me is a suspenseful horror movie I recently watched on Amazon Prime with the Paramount Plus add-on. The film centers around a paranormal embalmed hand, which might sound bizarre, but it’s handled (pun intended) in a genuinely chilling way. The characters use a candle to summon spirits and communicate with them, even allowing the spirits to possess them for short periods. As you might expect, dabbling with the paranormal leads to terrifying consequences.
Mia, one of the main characters, experiences the worst of these consequences, ultimately leading to her demise. The movie does a fantastic job of building tension and delivering some genuinely effective jump scares, along with a good dose of blood and gore.
Overall, Talk to Me is an intriguing horror film that keeps you on the edge of your seat with its eerie premise and well-executed scares.
